Goodbye Swarthmore, hello world. I'm out of the institution and need work to earn money to pay off loans. :-( I am at a loss on what to really do with my life, although I think I am getting a direction. I also hate the "new" Blogger. It sucks. I hate the new comments, Blogger bar, and dashboard. Google made Blogger suck. I hate you now Google. You truly are evil.
Woe is me. Some bug or fungus has pretty much killed all my zucchini plants. I have 2 almost dead plants left and I think they're trying to kill my cucumbers now. :-( My tomatoes are wonderful though. they are a bit crowded, but I never thought they're get that big. I have little green tomatoes and little peppers too. My plants are doing well and I have okra too. My melon platns are trying to kill my cucumber plants and take over the garden and fence.
In other news, my poop loving dog needs a bath and I have been improving my tennis game. I have a weird tan because of it and I can run a 12 minute mile, give or take 10 seconds. Well, it's time for King of the Hill. Later.
P.S. Good luck Lan. May you have patience to deal with catgirls, fan boys, and anyone else at the convention.
Ricky, Lee, her two friends, Corey and Andy (brothers, but not twins), and I went to Cowboys on Thursday night. It was a blast and although we didn't realise that Corey and Andy were brothers until hours later because Lee forgot to tell us, it was crazy fun. I don't recommend riding the mechanical bull while wearing a skirt though. It bruised up my thighs something fierce. Also they played too much country music, but I should have expected that. I can't two step because I try to lead, I can't shuffle my feet, and I have no sense of rhythm. It was fun to watch the skanks dance on the ho table. Ghetto dancing is fun, but Lee didn't like being the meat in our sandwich :-( I love you Lee and we should go out again :-D
Another sighting of my favourite word Schadenfreude.
Further proof that China is genetically tinkering with their atheletes. There is a 21 year old Chinese basketball player coming into the NBA who is, get this, 7' 8 3/4" tall!!!!! Almost SEVEN FOOT NINE INCHES TALL!!!!! I won't rant about this, but read what I said about Yao Ming on February 5, 2005 because it's pretty much the same argument.
Speaking of China, we should seriously watch what they're doing. Here's an article that agrees with me. It's an important article about the rise of China as a world power. The trade imbalance is going to bite us in the ass in the future (no thank you to you Walmart bastards) and steps need to be taken to make America less dependent on crappy Chinese goods. Refer to my post on November 22, 2004.
Ah, there is good news. I picked my first zucchini two days ago. It was seven inches long and beautiful. Better than a store bought one. Such love I have for it. I also have ltos of little cucumbers and more zucchini on the way. Hooray! I haven't eaten the zucchini yet because I don't know how I want it cooked. Will update about the garden later. Hooray for me!
