Goodbye Swarthmore, hello world. I'm out of the institution and need work to earn money to pay off loans. :-( I am at a loss on what to really do with my life, although I think I am getting a direction. I also hate the "new" Blogger. It sucks. I hate the new comments, Blogger bar, and dashboard. Google made Blogger suck. I hate you now Google. You truly are evil.
It's sad to say, but I like Rush. I really enjoyed their concert. I've been listening to Moving Pictures a lot. I find myself humming and singing Rush songs. I like Vital Signs and YYZ. What's happening to me?!?!? Anyway, I got a shirt and I like it, even though $30 for a shirt is absurd. No, I haven't found my John Mayer shirt either, so go suck an egg.
Anyway, lazy days and long nights. I'm getting better. I got up before noon today. Need to still fix up my bike and get a bike rack so I can go riding. I'm currently rereading The Gunslinger, the new revised and expanded edition. I like what I've read so far. Then I have to read Skeleton Crew, Rose Madder, It, and the 6th DT book. After that I will be all caught up on DT and then can read the last book guilt free in November. I have a lot of my reading list. ::sigh::
Arg! My damn Secret of Evermore game had a bug in it and it keeps crashing at the same place. I might just have to buy the real SNES game and play it the old fashioned way. I'm reading more Stephen King and I have about 4 more DT related books to read. Currently reading The Regulators then need to read It. I met David Sedaris at a book signing last week. I must say he is sure full of himself, but what I hated most were his annoying and self righteous fans. What assholes. On the bright side I finished watching 6th season M*A*S*H! I can see how preachy Alan Alda is making the series. I have to figure out if I want to keep buying the series or give up because it might suck...
I can't wait till ATHF and Sealab comes out. I hope it has extras.
Still unemployed. I feel like learning though. I want to take some language classes, like Spanish. It's useful down here. Also thinking about refreshing my science courses. Not knowing how to do math makes me sad. I should also take some English classes if I want to go to Law School. What the hell do I want to do?
I'm in Austin and I'm all alone. After watching mindless hours of television, I think it's time for a well deserved nap. I don't think I'm getting enough sleep. Craptacular. What a descriptive word. Apply it to whatever. I need to get my life together.
So, Mike wants a Gmail account... After all that bitching about it being evil, he now wants one? This is now the time to rub his nose in it.
Anyway, I talked to Lan and things are going fine there. I talked to her brothers and freaked them out a little. I saw Harry Potter 3 last night and I was pleased with it. Much darker and realistic than the first 2 movies, but I suppose that the way the books were darkening, it made sense. I must note that Harry and Draco are growing up nicely, although I know they will stretch out funny like Prince William ::sigh::, right now they're bordering statutory. Man, I'm going to feel real bad in the next movie when they're 16. It's hard to believe that they're 14. Kids grow up so fast now-a-days. God, I'm sounding old...ish. After coming out of the theatre, I felt bad knowing who dies in the 5th book. ::sigh:: But I understand that it had to happen. Harry can't be happy, he's not allowed to be.
On another note, I finished Insomnia and I liked it a lot. It really helped to explain the Dark Tower and the levels of it, as well as the Crimson King. Now I don't know what book I should read next. So I'm reading some Calvin and Hobbes, which I bought 7 books for $50! Oh, I also bought The Darkness CD and I like that too. I still need M*A*S*H season 6. I've been reading that it's the last "good" season. Rather, it's the last season before Alan Alda takes over and it becomes way too preachy and less funny.
Garg! I finally got my lazy ass around to setting up my computer and now I'm online, well I don't really consider dial-up online... So, what's new? A couple of days ago I wrote a list of the 21 things I like and hated about the trip or life in general.

Anyway, that list was in no particular order. Go about with your life now. Shoo!
I'm officially graduated. Wow. I had a great time with Ricky and Megan and we have many memories. So many that I'm too damn lazy to list them, but read Ricky's blog for details because I know he kept a faithful account of what we did. Graceland was cooler than all of us want to admit, and yes I know Elvis is dead. I saw his grave. He'll kick your ass unless you have a cheeseburger. On the plus side I knocked over the Sunsphere. Tired and have lots of crap to do. Damn. Now I really have to find a job. :(
