Goodbye Swarthmore, hello world. I'm out of the institution and need work to earn money to pay off loans. :-( I am at a loss on what to really do with my life, although I think I am getting a direction. I also hate the "new" Blogger. It sucks. I hate the new comments, Blogger bar, and dashboard. Google made Blogger suck. I hate you now Google. You truly are evil.
I've been noticing that most people's archieves are messed up. Mine seem to be ok, but it only goes back to Oct, when I started my London blogging. But for the record I have had this blog since March 2002, when that dumb ass Philosophy paper was due, it was sometime shortly after the debut of Erin's bloganza. WHOA! Just wanted to get that straight for all those who though I jumped on the Blog wagon, which I did, but I got better seats than you because I jumped on quicker lol ;-) BLECH! T-sa was talking to Joanne on AIM. She's going to be in Ireland for a long time (Good for you SA folks, but bad for me). She might also come to London :-O In a city of 7 million, I'm bound to meet the bitch.
Oh yeah. I wanted to add to the guy's scratching themselves in front of me story. In MPT lecture on thursday, the guy next to me scratched. SHEESH! I was sitting right next to him, it was a tiny lecture and we were shoulder to shoulder. I swear guys have no shame or manners, well not the straight ones... Speaking of straight. T-Sa brought to my attention the idea that German and Miguel might be more than friends. German got a dumbass hair cut (Buzz cut). It's uneven and so unflattering. He looked good with his curls, but now he looks like MIguel. Perhaps there's more than meets the eye on this...
Well, it snowed a dusting last night. It was pretty cool. T-sa and I went out to mess around in the snow at 2am. I took pictures of my name in the dusting, really it was lik less than a centimeter, but it was white. Other than that, not much going on. Central Line will be down for 2 weeks, so getting to the John Mayer concert (Which I hear will be full of americans) will be much harder, not really, just longer. DAmn the district line!
Had a nice dinner and an ok wine last night. I still prefer white, but it wasn't a bad red. T-sa laughed at me because I really did turn as red as I tomatoe. It's humourous because the red spread from my face down to my ankels. She laughed hard at me. Oh well. She leaves for Bath on Monday :-( it's been nice having someone from home around. Although I sometimes feel like it's just a figment of my imagination, and that she's really not here. She played on my doubts and told me she's going to call me and deny that she was ever here in london. That's evil of her, but probably not as evil and her alluding to the possibility that she's a vampire. She told me that vampires hung out around cemetaries, which was very comforting considering I live about 100 meters away from one! Laugh at me now, but I was seriously checking to make sure she had a shadow and I also put a lot of garlic in the food. Heh heh. I blame 'Salem's Lot for my paranoia. Speaking of Stepehn King, I can't wait for the next 2 books of the Dark Tower series to come out this year. I'm stoked. Is that a real word? Well, it's lunch time and I'm in need for some food stuff and a napo.
WOOO HOOO!!! I was on Telly. Warning this is a long...
So sit back and ride the stimultacs...
I was on Telly last night. For those of you who don't know, which is most I went to a taping of the Graham Norton Show last night. I e-mailed for these tickets in November and they answered me in january. Coolness. So we went to London Television Studios off Waterloo Tube stop yesterday afternoon around 3:15pm. We got there around 3:45ish since Central line is still down due to a derailment on Saturday. My friend was on the train before the one that derailed and had I not slept in I would have been on that trian too. Here's a link about the derailment I almost died. Well, not really. Scariness, but anyway, about the show. We got there 2 hours earlier and were like the first ones in line. We being Miguel, Anna, Teresa, Maureen, and Keri (Orhan's class got moved up so he coudln't go). That was cool, the fact that it was windy and fucking freezing, was not cool. We stood in line for about 2 hours and that was pretty boring and they didn't turn on the heaters that were outside, so in short it was very vyer veyr veryerveruer cold. Luckily I bundled up and wore my baby Jen hat. The people were filming us waiting outside, which we found a bit suspect. but there were like 2 queues going on which confused us. we just figure the other queue was for poeple who had embarrassing parent stories to tell. These people nex to us were crazy. They had a blow up sheep doll (with hole!) and we later learned they were from Wales, which made sense. but the women were not wearing coats and were wearing skimpy clothing. They were old too. :-P Anyway, they were also filming poeple off to the side doing stuff. I saw this girl lift up her shirt to show crazy tatoo work and this guy was just picking a wedgie. Considering the show, it seemed normal. So they let us in around 5:15pm whihc was great since it was fucking freezing. We made out way into the studio, which was on the ground floor. Anyway, they took our tickets and then we climbed this rickety wooden staircase up to teh seat on the set. I must admit the room was small, it seems so much bigger on telly, must be magic. LOL So we sat center third row up. We almost took the whole bench. I was sitting on the end to the left, closer to Graham's Desk. We were like 15ft away from his desk. Tjhere isn't a lot of buffer space between the stage and audience like in Leno or Letterman. So that was cool. Betty was there that night to watch the taping! If you ever watch the show, which i don't suppose to you ebing americans and all, Betty is the old grandmothery lady who does weird stuff on graham's show. She does interviews and goes on holidays. it's all cool. Grhaam knew her from the canteen when he was first starting out. Anyway, she was in the row in front of us, but on the other side from where I was sitting. We had excellent seats.
Anyway, they had a woman warm up us, which was cool because she was pretty funny. She made fun of people and told jokes and told us what to expect and how to act and stuff. She told us that it looked like crap to chew gum on telly and to take off our jackets because it gets hot and not to put things to close to the lights lest you see smoke and starting fires and stuff. The stage manager was also funny he told us about the fire exits and that there prbabl wasn't going to be another fire today. he also said that when he clapped we should. Well, there were 2 other old american men in the crowd and it was funninesss the ensuiong jokes. Well, we still didn't know who was going to be on that night. We were taping the show for that night. They kept telling us that and laughing at us because they said we looked perplexed and eveerythign. Anyway, the lady made fun of random clothing on people and this one girl got up and she was like where are you off to, were about to start taping. Well the girl had to pee, so they made an exception and the jokes about her were funny.
The next thing that happened was that Graham came out (hmm that's funny). When he first came out everyone was cheering loudly and graham was like, STOP! Clapping is precious. Save it for the show, we're not even taping. If you keep clapping like that you'll have bloody stubbs at the end of the show. it was all very funny. He came out with a wine glass and was probably a bit relxed, but then again he's Irish. I thought his left eye looked a bit wonky, it kind of looked bloodshot, but it seemed fine upon further inspection. graham also talked to us about procedure and stuff. He's really funny and he was wearing a shiny floral patterned green suit. Very posh, if not a bit well pouffy, but it's Graham. Well, he told us about the camera men runnign around and not to trip them upo and to look at the monitors to see what was recording. He made jokes about us being thick and talked into his jacket like a secret agent. Very funny. Well, Graham walked up the aisle and he was like right next to me, which was cool. He then tapped me on the shoulder and asked me how many guests I thought were on the show tonight. Well, I paused for quite a while, during whihc these thoughts ran through my head, 5? 20? Is it a trick question? he normally has one or two guests, so then after a seeming eternity, I said uuuuh two? He said you're and he laughed and said a lot of thought went into that, then talked into his jacket saying, possible the thickest of them all. I was insulted by graham norton! Which is kindo f cool. he talked to me. LOL anyway, after he made a few more jokes and gave a few more instructions he said that the show was going to begin. So he went back behind the red curtain and then the theme music came on and then he came out from behind the curatin and we clapped. He went through his monologue and stuff then we went to commerical or soemthing. It was a weird 30 second or minute of nothing going on. graham had dashed backstage to get into a costume, which is how he opens his second bit. Well when the curtain came back up he was a pole dancer and making rude jokes. It was funny he even noted the fireman's strike. Then at the end he revealed that the guests were Susan Sarandon and Goldie Hawn! I was surprised. It was laso cool to see him get out of his costume and wig and jump around the camera men, who really move around, to greet the guests. really cool. There's this one guy with a camera strapped to him, that's pretty funny to see him running around because he kind og does this shuffling run to minimize camera movement. Coolness. So after he greeted Susan and Goldie, who is the biggestr ditz in the world and her collagen lips nasty, they sat down and goldie was like are we in the rights spots and graham was like yes, in chairs. funny. So you guys can probably watch the show on BBC amerca sometime, I do0n't have the enegry to recount the interview, but I will hit some highlights. Miguel recorded it, but it's in PAL format and won't work on our VCRs :-( i'll figure somethign out. It was weird the things they cut out, but good that they cut them out. goldie had to sneeze and graham gave her a tissue and there were purple light bulbs in the draw. Goldie wanted a light bulb and then put it down her shirt like a nipple. Weirdness. She was tipsy, she was drinking white wine instead of water. He also gave Susan a purple light bulb. He surpised them with yearbook photos and toys that didn't look like them, one was a bear of Goldie Hawn and the opther a Janet rocky horror doll that looked that Gene Simmons and not susan Sarandon. They cut that part of tyhe show out becase it was boring. We also got to see them tape promos, whihc was cool.
So then they had the embarrassing parents stories and some were funny, but the best was this girl telling how her dad embarrassed her by dancing to I'm too sexy in a bright green lotard with tights with a banana down his tights. And graham was like how many people were there, she said over 60 and he said at least he didn't do it on telly, and the music played and her dad came out dancing in a green leotard with a banana down his tights. He jaw dropped it was soooo funny. Then they had a awards ceremony this NAFTA (norton achievement in film and television arts) and they showed clips of the audience wiating in line. Goldie and susan announced the nominees and Susan put her ligh bulb in her cleavage. She's very witty and toigether, unlike goldie who so incredibly dumb. The nominees were a couple huggionmg, a guy picking his arse, and a freaky tatoo girl. Well, the freaky tatoo girl had like elton john all over her back. 3 faces of elton through out the year and song lyrics, it took up her whole back. She looked 16, but she was married to this creepy old guy. scariness. The hugging couple won a 2 weeks holiday (five star resort) in Gambia, where that is I don't know. It was all fun. So after they finished taping. So Susan and goldie left, and then graham talked some more and then they wanted him to do a promo or trailer for something. It was for season 2 dvd or something. I think. Because the stuff he read off the teleprompter was a look back at highlights of season two and the last bit said "oh it's shimmering..." and we were all like wtf does that mean. Graham was like you got me, I know as much as you do. i just read it off the teleprompter. It was funny because he didn't know how to read the shimmering thing, like the inflection and stuff. So after he did it, the stage manager was like graham shimmering and like did his hands in a wavy pattern, like fading out shimmering. He was like OOOH. Well, they were running late so they were going to do it again on another audience. :-( Could have been immortalized on DVD clapping. LOL Anyway, he thanked us and made a few more jokes, then left.
Overall it was an excellent experience and i was to go back, and I think some of the pople I went with are going to try to get tickets again. Cool. So in shirt, watch the graham Norton show season 5 for it's really called "V Graham Norton" on BBC america or channel 4 in the uk at 10pm. And if the guests are Goldie Hawn and Susan Sarandon, looked for an asian girl in the thrid row aisle in glasses, a grey jumper, and black trousers and that will be me. Tadaa
I had a weird dream last night where I didn't do the reading and was giving the presentation right after lecture. Talk about stressing. i also couldn't kleep my skirt on for some reason. Also a lot of [poeple I disliked in high school were in my culture of Skaespeare's Europe class. I sat next to Sara Lee and she was bothering me. I told her not to touch me, so help me god. I think that she was in my dreams because T-sa and I were talking about High school and breast implants and how they would triangulate your head. ;-) T-sa mentioned Sara Lee and her padded bras, and that she woul probably get breast implants. Mayb e we'll get lucky and she'll pop them or something. that ould be kind of funny.
Well, I saw Chicago again on Saturday night, IN FOCUS! Geez it's so much better when the movie is in focus and it dxoesn't hurt your eyes to watch it. Kelsie remember the end where it shows Zelma's stockings, well the reason Roxie goes into buisiness with her is because Zelma is also doing badly because her stockings are torn and she can't afford new ones. Well, that solved some questions for me.
On another note Richard Gere can dance, but I'm not fond of his singing, which is the opposite of how I feel about Catherin Zeta=Jone-Douglas. Har har. Renee Z., well really can't do both, but I think she danced better than Jones in the last number.
OOOh I saw a Fox outside the ktichen window on Saturday! I didn't knwo they still had them in England. It was surreal. It sounded like someone was hurting a dog, but instead it was this foxc outside. Weird huh?
So T-sa and I went to Trafalgar square and the national Gallery on Saturday. It was cool. I saw some really neat paintings. I saw The really famous Van Gogh's Sunflowers, that chair he painted, Picasso's girl with a dove, Van Eyck's Arnolfini Portrait (which means something if you took art history), the painting of venus and Cupid that Monty Python took the foot thst squishes the titles from, and some other nifty paintings. Wow, that sounds so uncouth.
Anyway, I guess that's a good recap of my weekend. I made omlettes. yummy. Takes me back to the breakfast room.
Well, I have to do soime reading for tomorrow. Blah. I was also thinking of coming home for reading week. well, more like 10 days (the last part of February), what do you think? Is it worth it?
I forgot to talk about the weird series of dreams I've been having. But before that, I think I have sleeping sickness or something. I sleep like 12 hours a day, but I'm still tired. I asked Teresa what disease would cause yout o sleep a lot and lose your hair and she said cancer. Cheery ain't she? But anyway, Teresa told me of this girl she saw on a 20/20 programme who had a sleeping disease and everytime she went to sleep she'd wake up sutpider. She had to relearn how to walk and everything because she went to sleep for like 6 months!!! So I hope I don't have that.
But two nights agho I had a dream that I was riding in a n airplane with Cher and Liza Minelli. Umm yeah. I was friends with Cher and we picked up Liza for some interview or soemthing. Cher is pretty coool, but she didn't fly the plane this time. |We were going to go pick up Ricky in Austin, but he has 5 papers due. One was on the American Civil War, I was going to write that for him. But Cher was cool. I don't understand why I chose Liza Minelli though.
well, last night was odd too, but that has sadly faded from my memory. Although I remember something with Steve McQueen, but I think he's dead. What show was he in again?
No, I rememebr. It was a weird dream that I was trying to get into Big Bird's or Elmo's house. It was a very weird Seseame Street house theme going on. I also remember that I was trying to run away from some people. But that's about it. Maybe I was running away from Steve McQueen.
Oh on another note. James I was gay. Charles probably was too. With the Duke of Buckingham. Weird trio they had. Oh prof even called a Menage a Trois. Scary.
Weirdness. Aim Express makes me type backwards. What shit is that?
eep. I forgot what I was trying to say. Man I hate when that happens.
Oh Phooey. Something's wrong with Swatmail so I can't check my school account. grrr.
well, Anyway I bought my ticket to John Mayer on Feb 5th. Hooray. They cost $14 almost double since the last time he came to London.
Last night, T-sa and i went to go see a film Called The Pianist. it was a WW2 film about a Jewish Pianist in Krackow. Very depressing and graphic, but all ww2 movies are. It was very good though and I highly reccomend it when it comes out in the states.
lass yesterday. It was a silent and black and white film. It was good, but there were so many thingc mliF ni regdoL ehT dehctaw I mmme ,yawyna oS .pu dekcuf tey dna ddo fo dnik yllaer s'tI .ekoj oN .sdrawkcab sgniht gnipyt eb ot smees tI .won thgir retuup[moc ym htiw pu dessem gnihtemos si ereht tuB .gnidaer ym niod neeb t'nevah I ,lleW
Fuck it. I'm starting over. I cdon't know what happened to my computer. The Lodger was a good movie, although there were so many things to laugh at.
Blah. Bored with that line of thought already. On a different note. Wootton was not wearing all black today! :-O yeah, it was a sight to see. He has to give a talk in Oxford today so I guess he kind of dressed up. It's adorable. He wore a white dress shirt with a PINK tie. Well, if hat wasn't enough he also made a heroic attempt to comb his hair. It's so cute. LOL I know I sound funny, but you really have to know the guy. heh heh Pink tie.
well, don't have time to post a long thing, but in short all is good. I finished and turned in my MPT paper. I went to a decent party on friday. Slept 18 hours on sat and 6 on sunday totalling 24 hours in 2 days :-D Teresa Lopez is here staying with me and we went shopping for food yesterday. Woohoo I have company. :-)
I called my friends last night and they hung up on me. They were getting their 24 fix, you know how crazy druggies are.
More ot come later ort something. Just trying to catch up on stuff. I didn't check mail for like 2 days. It's odd how much slower life is without a high speed internet connection. PS I've watched so much M*A*S*H. I fifnished season 1, no I'm doing season 2. Blash i have to read a lot of class tomorrow. Down with homework!
Oooh Stephen Fry narrates the Harry Potter books. coolness.
Speaking of Mr. Potter, it's Harry Mania. The new book is coming out June 21 and I already ordered mine. I brought it through Amazon.co.uk so that I will have a British version, to match my other books. it's brilliant!
So I'm still not done with my paper and since the stupid office is closed today it doesn't seem like I can turn it in anyway. Damn people.
well, I've been on a reversed sleep schedule. I wake up at midnight and do work. Very bad for me. I must be stressing, but not as much as last semester. I've been biting my nails, but oddly enough I've been having stressful, suspenseful, nightmarish dreams. It started 2 night agos. I first dreamt that my friends were in a burning hotel. It was frightening, I hope none of you are playing with matches. Speaking of fire I almost burned my flat down. I stupidly melted my travel clock. Don't ask why i put it on top of the hot lamp, I wasn't thinking properly.
I then had a terrifying nightmare that some Mormens from my church were taking me to some weird meeting that I couldn't avoid going to or escaping from. I woke up scared from that dream. Who would have thought that mormens are scary.
Last night I had a Harry Potter induced dream in which I was hiding in a witche's house. I don't know why she wanted to kill me or whatever, but I knew I would have to hide. There were mirrors everwhere so that you coudl see around the corners and stuff. I think she also had an evil dog or soemthing. I remember hiding in basement like corridors. I finally found the back door to her house and I took off out of the house. She must have had it alarmed because as soon as I flew off, I had pillows for wings, she was right behind me on her broomstick. It's about now that I figured I became Harry Potter. I had a wand and was shouting "Expelleramus!" at her in order to get her to drop her wand. Hmm this would make a lot more sense if you've read the Potter books... Well I then thought of one of the forbidden curses the (crucio one), but then deicded that I probably wouldn't do it correctly anyway. Then the bad witch was like you need to say where you want the wand when you do Expelleramus, but now that I think of it, that only applied to the summoning spell, which just flew out of my head. Well I remember saying expelleramus in my mouth or soemthign and I got her wand in my mouth (YUCK!), but she caught up tto me and we were struggling in the night sky for my wand. I dont' remenber what hapopened next, but I just remmeber having to pick up Hermione on my broom stick (Firebolt of course). I love Harry Potter books. They can be trying. Harry is just a lucky SOB, but what can you do? I was rooting for him in Goblet of fire. Anwyay, it was a whacked out dream. I blame the Kenessy chicken. it gave me a tummy ache.
Bloody hell some people are fucking difficult. I hate AOL Quick Buddy. it pops up on top of everyting else. Bastards. Well anyway, some of the poeple I know, I woiuldn't call them friends, are being extrememly immature and infantile. They know who they are. And they should also mind their own business. Also if you know big enough to say things to my face than shut the hell up. Man I haven't been this angry in a while. It's refreshing in a way, but I rather spend my time more constructively like writing papers or something. Whatever.. Asses thje lot of them.
On another note, it's party night. Preparty in my flat and then off to Carlos's flat to finish the night. If they play the Ketchup song I know how to dance ot it. :-D
Well, I better write this paper. Blah. Maybe I'll develop a thing for Francis Bacon. Where's the Beef? LOL I'm on crack.
Gosh Harry Giobney takes the cake. Shame he's married. Maybe my new post will be a tribute to Harry. Haven't had one of those in awhile.
Anyway, didn't check my mail at all yesterday, in fact i don't think I even left the building. Sadness. But I am very hppy. The Politics department is way more lenient about turning things in late than the history department. It's only one mark off per day late, compared to 5 marks a day in the history department. When I heard abouit the politcs dept. policy I was so happy. I will finish the paper tonight and turn it in tomorrow only losing 3 points. I rule. I almost laughed at my teacher when she said that it was one point off a day, she said it so seriously, but compared to the history department, it's really funny. Love Harry and have more "humourous" e-mails to post, but I'm a little lazy right now. I've been up all night. The sun rises around 745am here. I shouldn't know that. I also melted my clock on my lamp because I was trying to figure out how many degrees F 26 C is. I dion't know why there is a 10 degree temp difference between the top of my desk and the floor. it ticvks me off. Also the cleaner took off the tiles that were falling off my sink in the closet. It's weird to see non-tiled surface. OOh tomorrow is the spanish party at Carlos' flat. Pre-party is at my flat, Maynard 9. Everyone is welcome, said miguel. He wants a jam packed party.
Anyway, just checked out the jophn mayer concert that's coming to london on feb 5. Tickets are £12.50, which is less than $20. Coolness. I asked |Chrissy if she wanted to go with me since she liked John too. Coolness, I missed him the last time at Scalia, but I;'m catching him this time. Maybe I could kidnap him for Kelsie. I bet if I leave a trail of pot to my flat he'lll come, well John and half of london.
So Chrissy, one of the new flatmaters looks liek a short Ashley Schmidt. It's weird. D00d. I did well on my last paper in Society and State. I got a 71, but since it was a day late that means I got a 66. :-( My first A paper foiled bnecause I turned it in late. Anyway, classes were a breeze today, but I'm feeling rhe pressure to perform./ Since I have the same profs from last smester they know my name and face, which is a blessing in diguise. In film class today, Glancy remembered my name and that I was from the south, but he also looked at me to answered question. He also remarked that he didn;t know I was staying the full year and what made me change my mind. Long pause and then he said, did you like it and I was like emm... yes, and then he said it's ok to say that I liked London and decided to stay. that was a rather akward moment. Anwyay, Rear Window was a boring movie and most poeple didn't do the reading since the book came in today. Grrr,k so it was like I was talking alot and I nbormally don't like speakingin classes. But it was ok. I wonder how I did on my paper last semster. I need to remember to ask Mark and David about my papers from last semster. I'm very curious to know what I got on them. Since I turned in my Body in History paper last and it counted 60 percent of my grade, I hope I did well. Not that the grades matter because they don't factor in my Swat gpa, they do appear on my transcript. I better have done kick ass on my Double Indemnity paper. I worked my ass off on that paper and I turned it in on time. That's because I rule. I;m super curious about how i did in my film course because the test was on Double Indemnity also.
In Shakespeare class, it seemes liek it will be fun. The class is very loosely structred with either 2, 2500 word papers or one 4000 word paper, due may 2. Coolness. Hey, Wootton remember my name and didn't need for me to say it. See a man 4 times a week, 3 times in one day, for a semester and it's amazing how quickly they learn your name. Granted he probably mispelled elliott, but most people do. Wootton won't be here next Tuesday for seminar Shakespeare. I asked if he was also not going to be around for Society and state and he was like I didn't think about that. Well, since class let out early Iw ent to buy books and spent less than $100, which is exicitng. that's all I need for this semster and they all came form one class. :-( Shakespeare. Anyway, I got a fair deal on my books and only had ot buy one online. I said $3.60 fun. That's a drink.
Oh, so the society and state seminar. Well, Wootton knowing my name is well, emm. Anyway. So he handed back out essays and kept referring to me and as a star pupil. Sheesh, it makes me cringe even writing about it now. He liked my essay. :-) But informed the class that I pointed out that he wouldn't be here next Tuesday, and that his star pupil once again pointed it out. blah. He suggested that we make it up after lecture on friday, but reid cou;dn't do that. So then the suggestion came up that we should do another seminar after the normal one. 2 hours or non-discussion. WHOA! that would suck. No one reads anyway. Emm, he did say that we woulnd't do 2 hours maybe hour and a half, then suggested we could fit 2 seminar discussions into one. Funny how his expectations drop. Well, then he said there isn't a rush to schedule another seminar and that we'd put it off. Translation - We're not going to make it up :-) Sometimes you gotta love David. I think it would be pretty cool to work with him this summer, but would I want to stay in London over the summer? Away from Home and my dog? On the other hand, I need to work on something for my senior thesis. David works for the British Library. That would be cool if got an internship there. Another factor is money. If I get that postal internship, I can earn some serious cash. Money is good, because I suire won't be seeing any of it for a while with stupid student loans. I wish I knew what the hell I wanted to do. Not academia. too petty and full of headaches. I hate writing papers anyway. Or do I? Am I denying or disguising my hatred of Academia? Hmm the world may never know.
there was something esle I meant to put on this blog. Emm, darn. Doppleganger. Heh heh that was in my reading today. I worship Queen Dopplopulous! Oh well, if I ever rememebre I will try to post what I was thinking. In the meantime, I missed British English.
Kels send me the We both reached for the gun mp3. I seemed to have forgoten to copy that one.
Hmm, still think Mark is a poufter. He tries so hard to use British words, it's funny. He's from New Orleans. lol. Still love him. going to miss michael, it's going to be a John Miller semester, but he's rather scatter brained. Bloody hell I hope none of my profs search for their names on google, like Led. Crazy guy. Else I'm screwed and not in the good way.
I used to get mad at my school (no I can't complain)
The teachers that taught me weren't cool (no I can't complain)
You're holding me down (aah)
Turning me round (ooh)
Filling me up with your rules (full, full)
I've got to admit it's getting better (better)
A little better all the time (it can't get no worse)
I have to admit it's getting better (better)
It's getting better since you've been mine.
Well anyways, I'm feeling better although I'm turning in my paper late like perhaps tomorrow late, but who cares. It can't be any worse a penalty for politics than the history department. I think I'm going to like my classes. I have the same professors and I liked them last semester. Although I don't get to see Michael Questier I'm in a Hitchcock film class. I met my new flatmate Ashley, who is incidently Korean also. Miguel was explaining some cool spanish stuff to me. He translated the Ketchup song and said it wa s silly song about a dancing drug trafficer. The course Asejere means absolutely nothing. He equated it to makes blah blah blah noises in English. Did you know that Enrique Englesias was spanish? I didn't. Miguel is opening my eyes to spanish music and music in general. He's also says I should learn spanish. He also gave me a breif history lesson of spain and how catalune became part of spain. The more you know I feel so smart.
I have 3 seminar discussion groups today starting at 1pm. :-( My film discussion group is today, so that should be exciting. I should check my schedule and pick a presentation day for film and history. I really should do this politics paper, but I'm not feeling up to it. I just don't carea bout the state of nature right now, but I have a feeling that \I will be caring about it later. I don't have class tomorrow :-) But I won't go climbing because of the paper. :-(
I talked to T-sa and Yelle last night. I love me friends. T-sa is coming to stay with me next week and I might go see Yelle this weekend. I miss my SA friends and the gingergbread pics make me laugh. Kelsie and druck incite laughter in pics. Erin is wacky and Ricky pooping on me is priceless. I really miss Jin-Jin. I wonder if he misses chewing on my feet. I bet he still barks at the vacuum cleaner. Bless his little heart.
I got a copy of MS office so I now have word and the ocmputer is still f*cked up, but I'm coping. It really isn't rainy outside, but it's cloudy, but you can't have everything your way. It's lunch time and I better eat something, but what? Hmm. I wonder if I hsould have read for my society and state seminar. Oh well, not going to. At least I'm going though. Seeing Wootton 3 times in a day is a bit much.
Ricky complains that my blog is too long to read, but since he nevers reads them anyway, so I can make them as long as I damn well please. It's a catch 22, but what can you do.
Well, it's time for reading and writing children. Who can tell me what the internet was and how it almoist destroyed mankind in the year 2012?
Well, to say the least I really miss home. For one thing my computer is fucking up again and that alone is enough to make me cry. But to compensate I watched 7 M*A*S*H episodes, including my favourtie one with Sidney, Deal me Out. That made me feel better, but then again I have discovered that I can't dance to Las Ketchup withoiut my 2 sisters :-( That made me want to cry too, that and I miss jin-jin. But I have Wishbone. I put up all those pictures from Gingerbread night, including the bad ones. They make me laugh. Kelsie is really photogenic. :-)
I have a shitty paper due tomorrow and get this I don't have word installed on my computer yet and the installation disk I have won;'t work because it's scratched. I feel like crying. But i have wordpad so somehow I will survive this, send my computer home and hopefully get it back. On the bright side, I got a responce back from the graham norton people so I can go to a taping of the show. I can be on Telly!!!!
Getting back to the east end yesterday sucked. The tube was down on near Heatrhow and so there was alternative bus service. I then too k the distrcit line which had major delays. Blah so I finally swuitched to victoria then central. I didn't want to switch so much. Essentially it took me at least an hour longer than it should have to get back. So it was a 2 hour tube trip. Evilness. On the bright side, no one has been killed lately near mile end...yet. I met one of my new flatemates Chrissy. She seems nice enough. Haven';t met the other person yet. Miguel isn't leaving till late feb :-) and Sam's still around. That's cool. I still need to get in contact with Yelle and Maureen. Emm does anyone have Shawn and Stacie's e-mail addys? E-mail then to me. I am getting over my cold, but I have a runny nose. At least there isn't anymnore mountain cedar, but there's rain rain rain and no sun. :-( BTW it was fecking cold yeaterday. it snowed in England. WHOA!, but it's like 50 today. Weird weather. I wonder if I still have the same classes.
Screw it all. I have to get to class and do some food shopping. It' lunchtime. No napo. i slept like 17 hours yesterday. So damn tired.
Sneezy. Kelsie got up five times last night to pee. I got up at noon to pee. I'm addicted to 24 like a crack whore. Kelsie also complains that my typing is bad. What does she know? So last night was a scary night that broke many boundaries. Erin Keck graced us with her presence again. I love Erin, she's funny.
Well, anyways. After a so-so dinner at Demos, the bakalva was good though, we went back to Rickys to watch 24 and get our fix. We got Erin hooked too. I started to flash Kelsie. She likes it. Well, Druck amd Ricky rode together and they arrived after us. While in the car I unbottoned my shirt and flashed Kelsie, but I didnt button it back up. I thought it would be funny to not button it up because I knew the guys wouldn't notice anyway. So I put on my jacket and left my shirt unbuttoned. Well the guys pulled up and I waved really big, ha ha. Anyway they got out of the truck and I approached them. Then I pulled Ricky aside, Erin and Kelsie were ;laughing. Anyway. Ricky was like what and I'm like look and he;s like at what then I flap the side of my shirt and they he laughed. Druck never knew what happoened. To say the least it was the begining of a crazy night. I unbuttoned my shirt in front of everyone again and it still took poeple a long time to realise. Geez we're bad details people. Well anyway, I was wereing my bootcut jeans that aren't that comfortable to wear because they sag and I'm always hitching my pants. Anyway, I later took off my jeans under the blanket. Well, Erin told Ricky's mom that I wasn't wearing pants and I was like Mrs. Ansley of course I have pants on. Well, that almost worked except that Erin was holding my jeans up to Mrs. Ansley behind my back. Erin is a traitor. Well, she made it up to me later by mooning me. Ricky's mom was surprised and disapointed :-( Then Druck took off his pants, but we didn't notice till later. Then Ricky changes into shorts. Michael comes down in bright yellow and balck hawaiian shorts and his mom yells at him. Don't ask me why. Well, Erin thought that there needed to be a sound between the commericals. So she unzipped and zipped her pants everytime there was silence. It was funny. Well, Ricky took down his pants and took off his shirt. Druck also took off his shirt. SCARY. Kelsie took off her bra and Erin pulled down her pants too. Dude, lots of naked people watching 24. We made a drinking game out of it. Everytime there is dramatic or any synonmn that preceded music when subtitles were on, take a drink. I thought we could play strip 24. That would be fun. Well, when we took Erin home we yelled at a house next door to Ricky's that had ugly lights. Erin rolled up her shirt. I mooned Kelsie. Nakedness was in the air, but nobody wanted Druck to whip it out. So scary the things we do when SOBER. We be sad and bad children.
Hmm... Cameras are bad things. Last night was fun, but I'm not sure if that tape should be shown. Discussing female anatomy and other details with Druck on tape, with Erin using Ricky's porn as an aid is quite disturbing. Another failing of our public school system is sex education. Please tell me there aren't other men out there that think you can stick a finger is a female urethra and the term "anal tactics" should never ever be used. YUCK! I shouldn't tease my dog, he just licked the insid eof my mouth. :-P NASTY.
Oh. My mom's new car is super cool. I got to drive it last night, even though she hasn't driven it yet. The odometer read 169 when I got home last night. How many miles can be on a car before it's not new anymore? Anyways, I really like 24, but I fear I may get addicted. I get easily frustrated with Tv shows, espeically when the characters do stupid things, which they often do. 24 frustrates me a lot.
I'm afraid to develop the film from the gingerbread house night. No we weren't drinking, but indeed we were bad. I don't know how we're topping cookie.jpg, but somehow I think the next one might be sausage.jpg.
We had a nice drink with Terri Klein. She had a sundae. Ricky and I had milk shakes. Too bad we're not decisive people. It takes us forever to decide on something.
Erin came over last night and it was fun. I missed Erin's dry wit and sarcasm. It's brilliant.
I really enjoyed Chicago. Richard Gere tap dancing. OOOH.... MMmmmm Well, it's something about guys that have rhythm. But what's rather frightening to me is the fact that Richard Gere epitomises what I currently find sexy. There's somethign about greying hair and suits. ::sigh:: I could go on and on, but I think that many of my readers are shaking their heads in shame. Unless you're Kelsie. Kelsie laughed at me because Richard Gere makes me sigh rather dreamily. Lots of praise for Chicago. I want to see the musical now in the West End.
Tomorrow is a possible lunch with Taylor is the weather is nice and tea with Terri Klein.
It's begun. I've started to ciculate cookie.jpg. I may never live this one down. At least in soda.jpg you could see the cap. I think I'm an exhibitionist. I've been flashing Kelsie in front of Druck.
I think I'm allergic to shellfish. My tongue swelled up after I ate some crawfish and stuff. Dude. It itches.
Kelsie doesn't want my dog to turn into a big circle face. Granted he's going to look pretty funny, but I still love him.
Well, it's been super long since I've updated, which Kelsie helpfully pointed out. But anyway, lots of things have happened, but knowing me I'm way too lazy to tell them to you guys, considering that the only people who read this where there anwyay. There are pictures that should never get out and movies that would make Cartman's mom proud. The graham cracker SIM mansion was super cool with minivan, gazebo, and caramel wonder. Hmm gingerbread penises and white icing shoulnd't be mixed. But enough of last night's sugar high (my tummy still hurts, but then again I might be hungry...)
I love my puppy and he's getting bigger and well, potty trained, thank god! Anyway, he knows 2 tricks, but pees when he's excited. So when Ricky druck, or kelsie comes over he pees, so I got smart and made the dog greet them outside. Jin-Jin loves to crawl into my lap and fall asleep. Last night we got him a maroon collar and a dog tag. So cute. Oh yeah, the dog is a Bichon Frise, big circle face. Grr he ate john grisham's The Summons. boy was I mad. But on the bright side, the book was crap. grisham just churns out half-baked books, knowing that people will buy them because of his name. what has happened to the world?
My mom got a new car, a lexus es 300, and it finally came in today. It's a cool colour. It's called Alabaster, which is a mix of gold, silver, white, and brown. So in the sun it's gold, and in shadow it's silver.
I got a laptop for christmas/birthday. No more writing in the computer lab for me. Speaking of writing i havea paper due next monday. Oooh poop!
I really want to see Chicago because Richard Gere tap dances ::sigh:: MMmmmm
New years was fun. I had a get together and we watched Minority Report and Return to Oz. I didn't really enjoy Minority report all that much, but it was pretty good.
Aol 8.0 is interesting, I like the enhanced spam guard stuff, but they should expand the block list. Mine is full :-( But the personalisations in 8.0 will get you in trouble. My orgasmic scream IM chime is problematic. I changed to a cat yowl.
Well if I think of anything else I probably won't write it don't because I'm so lazy according to Kelsie.
Oh yeah, I go back to London on saturday. Hmm back to dark, rainy, cold nights. Blah. I will miss thee fair sun.
